Must arrive in the laboratory within 1 hr collection. 

MEDICAL NOTES:
If patient is on Emicizumab therapy, request Emicizumab Factor VIII 
This assay MUST NOT be used for Haemophilia A patients on Emicizumab therapy. Emicizumab interferes with APTT and one-stage Factor assays and may result in a falsely normal/high Factor VIII activity.

For Haemophilia A patients on Factor VIII replacement therapy, specify the name of the patient's Factor VIII treatment product on the request form, otherwise the incorrect assay may be run.

LAB NOTES: Add-On Tests - check with Haematology first (see CH-W-148)
